More than 944,000 bottles of Corlanor and Sensipar medications distributed by Amgen are being recalled nationwide because of possible foreign substance contamination and manufacturing practice concerns. The affected medications are used for certain heart and kidney-related conditions. Consumers should check the NDC, lot code, and expiration date on their bottles. Anyone with recalled medication should contact their pharmacy or prescriber for a refund or replacement. The recall is classified as Class II, meaning the affected products may cause minor or temporary health issues, though no illnesses or injuries have been reported.
No other medications are included in this recall.
